Driver update disk (DUD) images (file extension is .img) may require third-party utilites to prepare the installation driver diskette, if using Microsoft Windows*.  Use the \'rawrite\' utility in Windows, or \'dd\' under Linux or Sun Solaris* to extract the DUD image to a floppy diskette as below:
 
     dd if=<image_file_name> of= <path-to-media>

path-to-media is /dev/fd0 for most floppy drives.  USB floppy drives may differ.
